This project is an extension to a summer house in Torekov, located on Sweden’s west coast. The addition extends from the existing living room and creates a new dining area for family gatherings and shared meals.

The extension is characterized by generous glazing and French double doors that open towards the garden, allowing natural light to fill the space and strengthening the connection between the interior and the coastal landscape outside.

Designed to harmonize with the original house, the new volume features plastered walls and traditional mullioned windows, echoing the character of the existing building. The extension blends naturally with the architecture while adding a contemporary sense of openness.

The result is a welcoming addition that creates space for social gatherings while bringing greater light and spatial quality to the home.
