Private House Extension in Enskede

This project is a sensitive extension to a characterful early 20th-century home in Enskede, just south of Stockholm. Designed for a family of four, the addition creates a new entrance that is both functional and full of charm.

The space offers generous storage while also acting as a light-filled French-style veranda, with glazed double doors, large windows, and a small seating area where the afternoon sun gently filters in.

It is both a practical and aesthetic improvement—enhancing the home’s everyday use while respecting its historic architecture. The new addition becomes a natural extension of the original house, carefully balancing old and new.
