Kitchen in Lund

This spacious kitchen in a historic townhouse in Lund was completely reimagined to improve flow and function. Designed as the heart of the home, it’s a welcoming space made to accommodate many people — a room for family and friends to gather.

The palette ranges from soft whites to earthy nutmeg tones, with details in stainless steel, brass, and marble. At the center stands a large, custom-built kitchen island in solid oak — the room’s centerpiece and social hub. Deep countertops line the perimeter, offering generous storage in the form of drawers, while open shelving and a glass-front cabinet create a light, airy feel above. A large fridge-freezer and oven add a rustic touch. Blending modern function with the old-world charm of the house, this kitchen feels as much like a living room as a workspace — a cozy place to be, from early morning to late evening.
